NEW YORK – Police are looking for two men in connection with a pair of robberies that took place earlier this month in Manhattan’s 30th District and the Bronx’s 46th District, the NYPD said.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday, December 4 at approximately 11:40 PM at a business located at 3407 Broadway in Manhattan. Two suspects reportedly entered the establishment, simulated a firearm and threatened a 24-year-old male victim. Authorities said the suspects removed property from the location before fleeing westbound on 138th Street in a vehicle. There were no injuries.
A second incident occurred a few hours later, on Thursday, December 5, around 4 a.m., at a restaurant at 1745 University Avenue in the Bronx. Police said the two men pushed a 24-year-old female victim against a wall, simulated a firearm and threatened her while trying to steal cash from the register. When the attempt failed, the suspects fled in a vehicle southbound on University Avenue. Once again no injuries were reported.
Both suspects are described as medium-skinned men and were last seen wearing all black clothing.
