Formula 1 and F1 Academy partner Amex is bringing multiple experiences to F1 fans and customers in Sin City this weekend for the Grand Prix of Las Vegas.
Amex is offering experiences to both Card Members and F1 fans at this year’s Las Vegas GP, both on the iconic Strip circuit and in and around the famous city.
This is led by the American Express Trackside Card Member Lounge, an exclusive trackside hospitality space in Turn 1 of the Las Vegas GP circuit where Amex Card members with tickets can enjoy a VIP experience.
The Amex Fan Experience is another venue where ticket members and fans with an East Harmon Zone ticket can immerse themselves in F1 culture and action.
The Amex Fan Experience, a two-story interactive hub, allows visitors to design their own F1 livery, take part in a driver evaluation to get to know their unique driver personality, create their own driver intro, similar to the stars on the circuit, and to purchase merchandise.
Amex will support local small businesses during the Las Vegas GP
Amex members can follow the Las Vegas GP across the entire circuit
Thanks to Amex Race Radios, card members at seven locations around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit can stay up to date on every session.
Just grab an Amex Race Radion and you can tune in to the exciting action.
Off-the-job experiences
As is common in modern F1, every Grand Prix is more than just a race: it is an extensive entertainment offering.
Las Vegas is no different and Amex will be at the heart of the off-track offering and supporting small businesses during the F1 LVGP Fan Experience.
Amex is in the process of establishing the Shop Small Village, located in Wynn West, where fans can pursue and purchase products from local small businesses in Las Vegas.
There will also be the Amex Garage for fans to enjoy and immerse themselves in the pit crew mentality.
Bringing F1 Academy to Las Vegas
Supporting small businesses is at the heart of Amex’s partnership with the F1 Academy and the brand’s engine #17 driver Jessica Edgar.
Edgar and her Amex F1 Academy machine will be present at the free-to-enter LVGP Fan Experience.
As is the case when Edgar races at the track, her car will sport the logo of a local women-owned small business when she arrives in Las Vegas.
Jessica Edgar will do a demo run in Las Vegas in her Amex F1 Academy machine
During her demo runs in Sin City, a year before the F1 Academy’s racing debut in Las VegasEdgar’s machine will have the logo of Speakeasy Candle Coa local Las Vegas small business known for its handmade, sustainable scented candles inspired by craft cocktails.
The Amex fan experience at the Las Vegas GP doesn’t end there: card members will enjoy a free ride on the High Roller during the race weekend with a free glass of champagne on Saturday to celebrate the brand’s honor global expansion with F1.
Amex will also be present at the F1 Hub at the Venetian, which is open to all fans and open from November 9 to December 1.
This is the perfect place to buy merchandise from an exclusive collaboration with Malbon ahead of Christmas.
Finally, Amex will make sporadic appearances at the world famous Las Vegas Sphere throughout the GP weekend.
