Sodexo acquires CRH Catering, further accelerating the growth of convenience products in North America

With the acquisition of CRH Catering, a leading convenience solutions provider and one of the largest independent players in the Mid-Atlantic region, Sodexo continues to transform its food model by expanding its InReach offering and footprint in the fast-growing U.S. economy with a value of $30 billion. convenience market.

With CRH Catering, Sodexo is strengthening its territorial presence on the East Coast and expanding its multi-channel offering with additional micro markets, vending machines, office coffee, pantries, fresh food and on-site food services. The CRH Catering commissioner will also accelerate strategic synergies between offsite manufacturing and convenience in key Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets, supporting Sodexo’s goal of achieving $500 million in InReach revenues by the end of 2025.

This new acquisition reflects Sodexo’s ambition to upgrade and scale its new food distribution models to meet rapidly changing consumer needs and behaviors, such as ready-to-eat fresh foods, healthier snacks and beverages, in the hybrid work environment. It is Sodexo’s seventh acquisition in the convenience services sector since 2022.

CRH Catering, founded in 1967, is a family business that has long been known for providing excellent service and a customer-oriented approach. CRH Catering operates in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Completion of the acquisition is expected in the first half of the 2025 financial year.
