MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – Madisonville police say a convicted felon is back in prison after a robbery and drug bust.
Police say they were called to Cross Creek Apartments for a robbery on Monday just before 9 p.m.
According to a release, 22-year-old Quortez Greenwood assaulted the victim, had a gun and took money before leaving.
Officers say they found him in a neighboring apartment and arrested him.
While searching the apartment, officers said they found a handgun, ammunition, suspected fentanyl-laced Percocet and a large amount of cash.
Greenwood is now in jail facing multiple charges.
As we have reported, Greenwood was arrested last year after police said he took a murder weapon from the scene of a crime.
