Sean ‘Diddy’ Comb children called their father on his birthday, while the music mogul has been behind bars since his arrest on charges of extortion, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
On Monday, November 4, the rapper’s son, Justin, 30, shared a Reel his Instagram from himself and five of his six siblings when they called their father in prison to wish him a happy birthday. Justin can be seen holding the phone next to brother Christian, 26.
Twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17, sit on the other side of Christian, who goes by King, and help sister Love, 2, sing to their dad. Big brother Quincy, 33, sits on the other side of Love and wears a purple cap. Their sister Chance, 18, was not there in person but was on another phone via FaceTime.
“Happy birthday to Daddy,” Love sings in the video, holding up the frosting for Quincy to eat from her finger.

“I love you all, I love you all so much,” Combs says over the phone. “I can’t wait to see you again. I can’t wait to see you. I just want to say I’m proud of you, especially the girls, I mean, all of you.”
“But just because you are strong. Thank you all for being strong, thank you all for standing by my side and supporting me, I love you. I’m going to have the best family in the world,” he continues. “My birthday, I’m happy. Thank you all for this call. Thank you so much. I love you all.”
“I can’t wait to see you in a few days,” Justin says, to which his father replies, “Oh well, see you in a few days.”
Love then sticks her face into the birthday cake and takes a big bite out of the frosting. ‘Daddy, I love you. She’ll eat the cake, so you won’t have any left,” Quincy says.
“Get it, get it for daddy. I love you,” Diddy says.
In late October, six of Combs’ seven children — Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance and twins D’Lila and Jessie — shared a joint statement obtained by PEOPLE “supporting” Diddy in the wake of his indictment.
“The past month has devastated our family,” it began. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false stories that have grown into absurdity on social media.”
The statement continued: “We stand united and support you every step of the way. We hold fast to the truth, knowing that it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU DADDY. Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie and D’Lila.”

In September, Combs was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, and has been in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after bail denied by two different judges.
His family traveled to New York City to support him hearing in federal court on Thursday, October 10. Combs’ mother, Janice Combs – who arrived from Florida – and his children were present at the federal courthouse in Manhattan.
“The kids were very happy to support their father,” a source close to the family told PEOPLE at the time. “The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there.”
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and his attorneys have appealed to have him released on bail ahead of his trial, which is scheduled for May 2025.
