YORK, Neb. (KOLN) – A York man accused of selling meth from his home is facing multiple charges.
According to court documents, investigators with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force became aware that Darrell Damme, 51, was selling large quantities of meth from his home in York.
On Oct. 21, investigators served a search warrant and seized methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, THC products, receipts showing Damme had sent money to Mexico and a safe from his bedroom, court documents show. The safe contained $2,935 in cash.
Investigators found additional items in the garage, including a toolbox with two plastic containers containing 605.4 grams of meth, according to court documents. The locked toolbox also contained several empty plastic bags and two digital scales.
Damme was arrested outside a Lincoln hotel the next day and transported to the York County Jail.
Damme was charged with possession of methamphetamine (over 140 grams), possession of money while violating drug statute, possession of a controlled substance and no drug tax stamp.
His bond was set at 10% of $250,000. He will appear in York County District Court for a hearing on November 13 at 9 a.m
