Nathan Aspinall is in the quarter-finals of the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship, crushing a very underpowered Ricardo Pietreczko 4-0. In the last eight, Ryan Joyce or Luke Littler wait for ‘The Asp’.

While ‘Pikachu’ came out of the blocks very slowly in set 2, Aspinall comfortably crossed the throw in the opening leg before breaking in leg 2 to double his lead in the set. Although the German had a dart on double 16 in the next leg when he missed, Aspinall punished to make it 2-0 in sets.
As Pietreczko continued to struggle with the scoring conditions, Aspinall eased another break in the throw in the first leg of set 3. Although ‘Pikachu’ got a rare dart on the double in the next leg to break straight back, the German could not benefit from. and Aspinall moved closer to a three-set lead. With Pietreczko starting to lose all composure due to his poor darts, Aspinall went on to a ninth straight leg, making it 3-0 in sets.
Aspinall started set 4 with six perfect darts. Although the nine-darter did not materialize, the leg was eventually taken for the 10th time in a row. However, while ‘The Asp’ fumbled with the doubles in the next leg, ‘Pikachu’ finally stopped the rot on double 16 to level set 4 at 1-1. Any hopes the German may have had, however, were quickly extinguished when Aspinall hit a roof-raising 131 checker to hold the throw and seal the win ten moments later.
