Gyeon-seok’s daughter faces a bleak future after season 2 of Squid Game

Like many players who joined Squid Game for financial reasons, Gyeon-seok’s backstory is the most tragic from the show. Earlier this season, he is seen at a theme park with his daughter Na-yeon, who has been diagnosed with blood cancer.

Since treatments for blood cancer are expensive and Gyeon-seok cannot afford them, he enters the game to win the cash prize for her daughter’s bills, without knowing the consequences of the deadly game.

While Gyeon-seok made it to the third game, he is tragically shot by the pink guard during the player uprising in season 2, episode 7. During the uprising, Kang Dae-ho goes into shock and is unable to supply ammunition to the players. who are at the mercy of their captors.

Gyen-seok begs the masked pink officer to spare his life, but they shoot him, hinting that Na-yeon has lost her father and has no one to care for her and pay for her cancer treatment.

What is Kang No-eul’s connection with Gyeon-seok’s daughter in Squid Game season 2?

Kang No-eul is one of the most complicated and mysterious characters introduced in the film Squid game Season 2. She is a North Korean defector who joins the game as a masked security, one of the pink soldiers (011) who also executes players in the first game.

Before working in the games, she is shown working at an amusement park as a mascot, briefly interacting with Na-yeon, after giving her a drawing with her and No-eul in a bunny costume.

It was also revealed that No-eul has a child that she left behind in North Korea when she came to Seoul. Assuming Na-yeon’s father is dead and No-eul also has a child she had to leave behind, Squid game Season 3 could work on this potential storyline, and No-eul will pay Na-Yeon’s medical bills and she might get a chance to redeem herself in the show’s final season.

While this is just speculation, it could become a possibility given her interaction with Na-yeon in Episode 2.
