Salman Khan’s fans are angry after the superstar’s cameo in Baby John was leaked online. Earlier, it was revealed that Salman will be seen in a special cameo role in the Varun Dhawan starrer. Atlee and Varun had confirmed the same during the trailer launch and had also included a glimpse of the superstar in the trailer. On Tuesday evening, after the film’s premiere, videos of Salman in the film are doing the rounds.
The video revealed that Salman is ‘Agent Bhai Jaan’. The actor is involved in an action sequence with Varun. The leak has angered fans. Many called for the videos to be removed as it ruined the element of surprise for his fans. “Please remove it, don’t encourage piracy,” one fan wrote. “Remove kar do bro it will ruin their experience,” another added.
It was reported that Salman Khan did the cameo for free. Although Atlee and Varun have not addressed the claims, Atlee opened up about the cameo in an interview with Pinkvilla. Atlee revealed that he and Murad had plans to approach Salman. However, within a few hours, Murad informed the jawan director that not only had he already spoken to Salman, but the superstar had also agreed to appear in Baby John. Although Atlee was excited about his addition, he was also nervous.
“Considering that a big superstar like Salman Khan was coming, I had to be very responsible. I wanted everything to be perfect,” Atlee said. “We were going to explain the scene to him, but Salman said, ‘Why do you have to explain it? I’ll come and do it, no problem.’ I have never seen such a superstar,” he added.
On the day of the shoot, Salman arrived 20 minutes before Atlee. “I was 20 minutes late on the set because we called Salman Khan at 1 o’clock; he came at 12:30 so i came at 1. I arrived on time but he was 20 minutes ahead of me and he was sitting like a lion,” Atlee recalled.
