Littleton police officers shot a driver Tuesday morning after the driver allegedly got out of the car with a gun during a traffic stop, police said.
Officers stopped the unknown driver around 3 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Belleview Avenue and Keenland Court, the police said in a statement. The researchers could not say what the first traffic stop was for.
The driver got out of the car with an unspecified gun and pointed it at officers, causing multiple Littleton officers to fire at the suspect, investigators said.
Paramedics transported the driver to hospital in an unknown condition.
