Prince Louis, the youngest child of Prince William and Princess Kate, often makes headlines around the world for his cheeky antics at royal events, often dancing and making funny faces.
Although the six-year-old prince doesn’t attend every royal function due to his age, royal fans have quickly noticed that when he does, he looks a lot like one of his closest relatives.
Although many talk about how his sister, Princess Charlotte, nine, is the spitting image of her father Prince William and her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, it seems that Prince Louis, like his brother Prince George, is instead being compared to Princess Kate’s side of the family.
On several occasions, people have pointed out that the young prince looks exactly like his grandfather Michael Middleton, who is rarely depicted with Louis despite their close relationship.
But even if the grandfather and his grandson aren’t next to each other in the photo, photos of Prince Louis seem to be enough to convince royal fans that he is the “spitting image” of Princess Kate’s father.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, people have regularly posted about similarities between the pair.
One fan wrote: “Prince Louis is the spitting image of grandpa Michael Middleton!”
Another said: “Every time I see a photo of Prince Louis I see his grandpa Michael Middleton. It’s sweet.”
A third posted: “I swear Prince Louis is Michael Middleton’s mini-me.”
Although Louis is rarely seen in public with his grandfather Michael Middleton, the young prince – along with his siblings – has a close bond with him, which has been strengthened this year due to Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
Since living in Windsor, the children have been able to see more of their grandparents who live just a short drive away.
Michael Middleton and his wife Carole, Princess Kate’s mother, also featured in her intimate video released in September to mark the end of her chemotherapy journey.
In the clip, the grandparents were seen playing cards with their grandchildren, along with Princess Kate and Prince William. Prince Louis was seen sitting next to his grandfather on his father’s lap as they played together.
