Inter Milan are ready to welcome back full-back Carlos Augusto as the Brazilian focuses on his return to competition after injury.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.itCarlos Augusto will resume full training with the rest of the squad this week after building up his fitness during the international break.
The former Monza man has been out of action since suffering a muscle injury in the 1-0 win over Swiss club Young Boys in the Champions League on October 23.
After missing more than a month of action, Carlos Augusto has set his sights on being involved in Inter’s visit to Hellas Verona in Serie A on Saturday. He is expected to be included in the squad even if he does not start the match.
The two-time Brazil international has made nine appearances in all competitions this season after making his transfer from Monza permanent this summer.
