Three of the four Arnold sisters have appeared on reality dance competition shows

The Arnold sisters — LindsayJensen, Brynley and Rylee – have turned a shared love of dance into a strong sisterly bond.
The siblings were raised in Utah by their parents, Josh and Mindy Arnold. Although Mindy was not a dancer herself, she taught her daughters from an early age. Years later, all four sisters would become trained ballroom dancers, and three would compete in reality dance competitions: So you think you can dance And Dancing with the stars.
“Dancing is something we have invested our lives in, and we have learned how to support each other and be there for each other throughout this life,” Lindsay shared. Dance spirit in October 2018. “It has brought us so close as a family.”
Now the siblings often show up to support each other, most recently during Rylee’s appearances in season 33 of DWTS.
“My sisters are the people I call first for everything. I spend more time with them than any friend,” Lindsay said in a TikTok in September 2023. “My sisters are my most important friends and my best friends, and it’s actually the best thing that ever happened.”
From growing up in Utah to their shared dance band, here’s everything you need to know about the Arnold sisters.
They grew up in Utah

Josh, a cosmetic injector, and Mindy, a former physical therapist turned dance studio owner, welcomed their first daughter, Lindsay, in January 1994.
Lindsay became a sister when Jensen was born in October 1997, followed by Brynley in April 2000 and Rylee in June 2005. Together the sisters grew up in Utah and grew up as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
When they were children, Mindy opened a dance studio so her daughters would have a “family environment” to perform, Lindsay said. Dance Dish Media in June 2017. They started training in different styles, with a special love for ballroom dance.
Although the sport has taken the sisters in and out of Utah over the years, they revealed that on their website YouTube channel that they do not want to leave their home state permanently.
“I think it would be especially sad not to be with everyone,” Jensen said in July 2023.
Lindsay, Brynley and Jensen are each married with children

Lindsay was the first to get married when she tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Samuel Cusick, on June 18, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They welcomed their first daughter, Sensibleon November 2, 2020, followed by a second daughter, Juneon May 3, 2023.
Jenssen too married her high school boyfriendTopher Hill, on December 27, 2018, in the Salt Lake City Temple, with Lindsay as her maid of honor. They welcomed their first child, Confesson June 22, 2022, and announced that this was the case in September 2024 expecting a second child expected in March 2025.
Two years later, Brynley married Donny McGinnis on October 9, 2020. Together they share two children: daughter Quincyborn August 4, 2022, and son Rezborn on May 7, 2024.
In the meantime, Rylee started dating USC football player Walker Lyon in October 2024. As the youngest aunt of the group, she often shares photos on Instagram showing how much she loves taking care of her nieces and nephews.
“aunt life is the best life so grateful!” she wrote further Instagram in November 2022.

Lindsay joined in SYTYCD in 2012 before joining the professional cast DWTS in 2013. Four years later, she won her first mirror ball with her partner Jordaan Visser. The dancer ultimately stepped away from the show in 2022 to focus on being with her family in Utah.
In 2018, Jensen participated (and came second). So you think you can dancewhile Rylee was competing Dancing with the Stars Juniorin which Lindsay was her coach and mentor.
During a performance in May 2024 on The Knip podcast, Rylee explained that it was on DWTS had been her ‘dream’ ever since she saw her sister at a live taping when she was 8 years old.

Shortly after finding out she would be turning pro in season 32 of DWTSRylee shared one Instagram video of her siblings reacting to the news, with Lindsay picking Rylee up and swinging her around as they jump up and down excitedly.
Lindsay has made her own Instagram announcement that same day, in honor of the “full circle moment.”
“To say that I am proud is really an understatement. This girl is the hardest worker, beyond talented, humble and so friendly, and she is absolutely killing it this season! Lindsay wrote.
Although Lindsay and Rylee did not participate in the same season, Lindsay made a guest appearance in the studio during Rylee’s first season. DWTS season to help her and her then partner, Harry Jowsey. Now all three sisters (and their children) are frequent spectators.
Brynley also grew up as a dancer, but took a different career path

Instead of following in her older sisters’ footsteps and becoming a dancer, Brynley pursued a career as a nurse.
During a performance in April 2024 on Received from my mother podcast, Mindy said Brynley was “an amazing dancer” and was on “the same level” as the other girls.
However, after living with Lindsay in Los Angeles for three months and immersing herself in the modeling and dancing scene, she decided she didn’t like the lifestyle. Mindy remembered when Brynley came home and set her sights on nursing school.
In November 2021, Brynley shared a Instagram tribute to her “ER family” before revealing she would be taking on a new role as director of nursing, writing that she has “loved every second of her work here.”
Lindsay has been “more than a mentor” to Rylee

Lindsay has had a profound impact on Rylee’s life, ever since she was her mentor DWTS Junior to provide support during her first year as DWTS pro.
During a performance in September 2023 on Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, Rylee explained that Lindsay was “more than a mentor.” She told how her sister and former DWTS pro helped her get started for her first season, from giving her thoughts after rehearsals to helping respond to press inquiries.
“She was in my ear and helped me with everything, as simple as, ‘How do I respond to this text to this person?’ Rylee said. “There have been times when I’ve been in front of the press and they’ve said, ‘She’s got such a great PR team, she delivers such great answers,’ and I’ve thought, ‘It’s Lindsay.’ ”
Lindsay attributed this special bond to their twelve-year age difference.
“She was always just like my little sister,” she said in one TikTok in January 2024. “I feel like she really cared about my opinion and listened to my advice.”
Rylee echoed the sentiment as he appeared The Knip a few months later, adding that she had “looked up to (Lindsay) my whole life.”
They have a YouTube channel together

Dancing isn’t the only thing the Arnold sisters share. In September 2019, they started a YouTube channel titled The Arnold sisters.
From dance challenge videos to candids about motherhood, the siblings have spent years documenting their lives in more than 300 vlog-style videos.
Although the four filmed together consistently at first, their posting schedule became more sporadic as time went on, which Lindsay explained in a Video from May 2024 was due to life getting “pretty crazy.”
“I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to get back to the good old OG days Arnold Sisters where no children were involved, where we posted every day, multiple times a day,” she said. “Life is different now for us guys, and it’s harder.”
They call each other ‘best friends’

Lindsay revealed on TikTok that her sisters are her “absolute best friends in the whole world.” She added that they have daily group FaceTime calls and are “really close.”
While we’re talking about ‘assumptions about us’ during a Video from February 2023 by The Arnold sistersLindsay, Jensen and Rylee debunked the myth that some are closer than others.
“It’s so funny because that’s not true. We’re just attracted to each other,” Jensen said, before Rylee added that it “also depends on the day.”
Lindsay joined in, joking, “Some days I like Rylee, some days I don’t.”
