TEL AVIV, November 8. /TASS/. Israel cannot tolerate the displays, similar to what happened in Amsterdam on the night of November 7, where Israeli football fans were attacked after the game, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s anti-crisis center, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
“We must fight this phenomenon, which threatens us, the free states and the Netherlands. It threatens not only us, but them as well. We cannot tolerate such things,” Netanyahu said.
Previously, the Israeli media reported that at least 10 Israelis were injured in the attack in Amsterdam, which took place after the UEFA Europa League match between Ajax (the Netherlands) and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Israeli Permanent Representative to the UN Danni Danon posted video footage of the attack on his X page. The attackers had Palestinian symbols on their clothes.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry advised Israelis staying in Amsterdam not to leave their hotels. The Israeli National Security Council said that all Israelis, who can, must immediately return from the Netherlands.
