Cole Hauser admits he “can’t say no” to anything his daughter asks

Cole Hauser talks about the biggest difference he has experienced between raising his daughter and raising his sons.

The episode will be delivered on Thursday, November 7 The Drew Barrymore Showthe Yellowstone star, 49, revealed that he and his wife Cynthia Daniel’11-year-old daughter Steely’ is in charge, which also includes their sons Ryland, 20, and Cole, 16.

“At the end of the day, I love her so much that it’s hard for me to say no to anything,” the actor admitted. “But as she gets older, I become more and more careful and give her everything she asks for.”

Smiling, host Drew Barrymore asked, “Was it like that with your boys?”

“No,” he replied promptly. ‘They get nothing. “Go to work, do what I tell you, exercise.” It’s just completely different.”

He added: “My wife says it all the time, she says, ‘She’s got you wrapped around your finger.’ ”

While filming the fourth season of Yellowstone on location during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hauser told PEOPLE in November 2020 that he saw that period as a lesson in “how important it is to take advantage of family.”

“It’s been a little tough the last few years, just being away for five months at a time,” he said, explaining how his family copes when he’s away.

“It’s not easy growing older from a distance. Steely is an absolute gun and they are great guys. When I’m gone, they take over and make sure Mother and Steely are looked after. That’s how I raised them and I’m proud of that.”
