Police make arrests in connection with a bank robbery in Hamden

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – Police arrested two people in connection with a bank robbery Thursday morning.

The suspects were identified as Kathry Quiello, 43, and Steven Setzer, 49.

Hamden police said the suspected bank robber was driving a tan SUV.

New Haven police found the car and identified Quiello.

Police said Quiello tried to drive away, but officers were able to track her down and arrest her.

Setzer tried to run away, but was eventually arrested, according to officers.

After obtaining a search warrant, police said they found an illegal firearm and fentanyl packaged for sale in Setzer’s motel room.

Quiello was charged with interfering with police, involving police in a pursuit and reckless driving.

Setzer was charged with interfering with police and with firearms and narcotics charges.
