1. Dee-Dee makes a confession about Joel

Dee-Dee decides she must do the right thing by telling the police the truth her involvement in Joel’s death. Still convinced she was to blame, Dee-Dee informs Kit that she hit Joel with a crowbar the night he died.
Dee-Dee makes it clear that she acted in self-defense and that Joel was still alive when she left him. This casts doubt on whether Dee-Dee was really the killer, as someone else must have dumped his body in the river.
As Kit considers arresting Dee-Dee, another piece of evidence is revealed that could take the investigation in a new direction.
2. Lisa claims she was framed

Lisa informs Carla of the ongoing investigation and reveals that she is now a suspect because her CS spray was found next to the murder weapon. Lisa speculates that someone is setting her up, with the real killer being the most likely possibility.
Lisa puts her detective skills to good use, retracing her steps and trying to figure out who might have had the means and motive to steal the spray. Could this lead to the real killer being unmasked, or is Lisa just putting on an act to cover her own tracks?
3. Joel’s killer is finally revealed

In a special episode airing on Friday, November 15, Kit continues to question his suspects and a series of flashbacks puts viewers in the spotlight during the night Joel died.
These include a view from the bridge near where Joel’s body was found in the river. Who delivered the final blow that took his life?
4. Tim and Sally are in danger
ITV
Tim finds himself in the doghouse with Sally because their car has been stolen, next to a ring that belonged to Sally’s mother. With Mason’s brothers involved, Sally points out that Tim caused this mess by Letting Mason sleep on their couch.
Tim sees Mason with his siblings Matty and Logan and rushes over to confront them. Matty and Logan both laugh smugly at Tim, who quickly senses that Mason is afraid for his family.
Later, Mason calls back to the Metcalfes’ house, but Sally forces him inside and calls the police.
5. Mason is doing well

Later in the week, Tim and Sally’s car is picked up by the police after an anonymous tip.
Mason apologizes to Tim for causing trouble, but accidentally reveals that he was the one who secretly informed the police of where the missing vehicle could be found.
6. Gemma struggles to forgive Billy
ITV
There are mixed reactions to Billy after his breakdown at Paul’s screening and near-death experience in the aftermath.
Bernie suggests that the Winter-Brows should welcome Billy into the family, because that’s what Paul would have wanted. Gemma remains furious after the revelation that Billy did something to Todd after the funeral, so she storms off.
7. David visits Clayton

David confides in Nick after receiving messages from prison about Shona’s imprisoned son Clayton, who has sent a visitation order. Since David has kept Shona in the dark about this, Nick suggests that honesty is the best policy in the long run.
David ignores this and secretly goes to Clayton. How will the visit go?
8. Shona receives disturbing news

Later in the week, David is alarmed to find Shona in an emotional state at home.
Shona explains that the police visited her to break the news that Clayton is in hospital after attempting to commit suicide.
9. Lauren shares her fears with Max
ITV
Lauren enjoys some quality time cuddling Frankie in the hospital, while Max is also there for moral support.
When Lauren shares her fear that social services will take Frankie away at some point, Max assures her that everything will be fine if they stay together.
