HYATTSVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) – Hyattsville Police (HPD) were on the scene of a double shooting Tuesday evening.
In a post on X shortly after 11:30 p.m., HPD said the units were located in the 2500 block of Kirkwood Place. Five people reportedly tried to rob a man and a woman as they returned from dinner.

They were both shot.
HPD said they were taken to the hospital, but there was no word on their condition.
