KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: Farwaniya Governor Athbi Al-Nasser conducted an inspection tour of the Foreign Workers Reception Center in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh on Monday morning. According to a press release from Farwaniya Governorate, the governor was received by the Acting Director General of the Public Manpower Authority (PAM), Marzouq Al Otaibi, Director of Public Relations and Media Department Muhammad Al-Mazini, Director of Labor Relations Fatouh Al-Ansari, and head of the Muhammad Al-Rajah shelter. The visit was aimed at reviewing procedures for receiving foreign workers and ensuring their basic needs are met. The Governor commended the dedication of the center’s staff and appreciated their efforts in providing basic support and services to ensure the comfort and safety of workers. He expressed gratitude for the staff’s great humanitarian efforts, emphasizing Kuwait’s commitment to its humanitarian responsibilities.
Sheikh Athbi affirmed the importance of the role played by human rights associations and public utility organizations, which have offices in the center, in improving humanitarian services. He emphasized that Kuwait’s reputation as a center for humanitarian work necessitates continued cooperation between all parties involved to improve the level of service and care provided to foreign workers.
