Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh named their daughter Dua.
On Friday, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to Instagram and dropped the first picture of their daughter. By sharing the photo, they revealed the name and meaning of their newborn baby.
Deepika and Ranveer shared the photo and wrote, “Dua Padukone Singh | ‘Dua’: What a prayer means. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their baby girl on September 8 and shared the news in a joint statement on Instagram. Many celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Ananya Panday congratulated them for embracing parenthood.
In an interaction with entrepreneur and media mogul Ariana Huffington at the Live Love Laugh Foundation Lecture Series to mark World Mental Health Day 2024, Ariana spoke about burnout and then Deepika Padukone shared her experience saying, “If you are sleep deprived or burned out the decisions you make and I think sometimes I can really feel it. I know some days I feel stressed or burned out because I haven’t gotten enough sleep or practiced my self-care rituals… I can tell you that my decision-making is influenced to some extent.”
She further spoke about how to deal with criticism, saying: “It’s absolutely normal and human to feel pain, anger and some of these extreme emotions and learn from them. The bigger picture is how do you deal with that criticism and How do you deal with that criticism?” use it positively and work on yourself. You’ll have to work hard and be patient.”
