A Schenectady man has been indicted on federal drug and weapons charges.
Nekie Ricks, 31, is accused of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute in August 2022. He also had a gun. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ricks is not allowed to possess weapons because he has a prior felony conviction.
Ricks was arraigned Thursday and ordered held pending trial.
