BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA—Melbourne Police Chief David Gillespie held a swearing-in ceremony ceremony for eight newly recruited members.
“Congratulations to all who have taken the next step in their careers, demonstrating the commitment, leadership and dedication that strengthens our department. You have earned this moment through hard work and selfless service to our community,” a Melbourne Police spokesperson said.
“To our newly sworn officers: welcome to the team! We are excited to see the positive impact you will make as you continue the honor and tradition of service. Your journey has just begun and we are here to support you every step of the way.”
