A Nigerian businessman, Steven Nwankwo Ukpabi, will install a thousand solar street lights in 17 villages in the region. Abijah.

Steven said the solar street lighting initiative is part of its Uturu project, adding that 100 poles have been delivered to Nkpakpi.
He said the poles would be delivered to other villages gradually. He shared photos of some solar street lights. He wrote:

“Today October 29, 2024, people of Amodu Ututu Arochukwu LGA received their own solar energy, part of my light up Ututu project, where I pledged to share 1000 solar energy with 17 villages in Ututu, gradually I will reach the promised number, Nkpakpi received a delivery of 100 poles, Amodu has just received its own delivery, gradually the 17 villages will be completed.”
