Investigators in a northern Georgia mountain community said Thursday they have made three more arrests in the killing of a 19-year-old woman last month — bringing the total number of arrests to seven.

The Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office said Aspen Leigh Cagle, 15; Madison Alina Grace Perez, 19; and Elizabeth “Rylie” Sue Henson, 17, have been jailed. Cagle is charged with murder and robbery, Perez with murder and Henson with robbery.

“These charges stem from this entire group conspiring to commit a series of armed robberies between Ellijay and Jasper,” said Sheriff Stacy Nicholson. “Unfortunately, Mallory Warden was killed during one of these planned robberies.”

The 19-year-old director was found with a gunshot wound in a vehicle on South Main Street in Ellijay on September 18. as CrimeOnline reported. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Investigators quickly determined the shooting occurred outside Ellijay, on a rural road in Gilmer County. Four people – Gray Anthony McClure, 21; Robert Gabriel Shoilekov, 17; Davonnte Lavon Brehon, 18; and Anthony Jared Inestruza Whisnant, 19 – were arrested and charged with murder.

Nicholson said after the latest arrests that the “investigation is not over and we expect more arrests.”

“We intend to charge everyone involved in this case, whether they were physically there or just helped plan it, to send a message that if you assist someone in any way in commit a crime, you go to jail,” the sheriff said.

The sheriff did not say whether the victim was part of the robbery crew.
