A video of a ‘minimalist house’ in Gurugram’s DLF Camellias, one of India’s most expensive residential communities, is going viral on social media. Located on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, the Camellias is perhaps the most famous luxury housing project where apartments have reportedly been resold for over Rs 100 crore. On Wednesday, content creator Priyam Saraswat shared a video on Instagram showing the ultra-luxury apartment of a Gurugram-based architect. The clip offers a rare glimpse into the home, which comes with a huge balcony, bar and workspace.
In the clip, the homeowner revealed that she shares the apartment with her businessman husband and their son, who is currently studying in the US. She described the interior of the house as “very minimalist and very austere”.
“Minimalist house in India’s most expensive society!” read the caption of the post.

In the video, the architect explained that the apartment consists of two parts. While the ‘public area’ is used for entertaining guests, the ‘private area’ houses the bedrooms.
The biggest part of the apartment is the 70-foot-high glass balcony at the front, which can accommodate nearly 50 people, the homeowner claimed. The huge apartment also has a master bedroom, a second bedroom, a bar and a work area.
Mr Saraswat shared the video a day ago. Since then, the video has amassed over 64,000 likes and over 2.4 million views. While some users simply called the apartment beautiful, others in the comments section expressed their amazement at the size of the balcony and the apartment itself.

“Man, that balcony is almost the size of three houses in Mumbai,” one user wrote. “People from Mumbai, what you saw there with a view is called a balcony, yes it is a balcony and in Delhi NCR it is quite common that it may look like a 3BHK to you but it is just a big open space that comes with the house,” said another jokingly. .
“I’m manifesting this house from my 2BHK,” said a third user. “Finally I understood why these apartments are so expensive, but I still don’t understand why they are so expensive,” said a fourth user.
DLF Camellias is particularly known for housing several top businessmen including Deep Kalra, Founder and Chairman of MakeMyTrip.
