WhatsApp introduces a new layout for the call information screen
Instant messaging platform WhatsApp introduces an updated call log management feature!
According to WEBetaInfoA redesigned conversation info screen now has a layout similar to the chat info screen, for a unified look and organized key elements.
With this update, the contact’s profile will be prominently displayed in the center of the screen. Below the photo there are buttons for sending messages, making voice and video calls.
Meanwhile, the messaging button that used to be in the top app bar has been moved below the profile photo.
The top app bar now only contains the overflow menu with options such as blocking the contact.
The call info screen provides users with detailed data of all voice and video calls made with a contact, while the overflow menu still allows users to delete call logs, but deleting it now will delete all call records with that contact, not just those from a single contact person. day.
In addition, the Meta-owned platform has also updated its call tap with an improved call log grouping system.
For some beta testers, call logs are now grouped by contact instead of days for the same contact.
This feature is available to some beta testers running the latest WhatsApp beta version for Android 2.24.24.19 and will be gradually rolled out to all users in the coming days.
