This will be the first snow accumulation of the season for the Sea-to-Sky Highway, with between 5 and 10cm forecast for the area.
The mountain peaks and the other highway passes will also see snow accumulating.

Temperatures will hover very close to freezing, but the potential is certainly there to see snow conditions as temperatures cool.
Precipitation will remain in the form of rain for Metro Vancouver, but widespread rain is expected on Saturday and Sunday. Some of the more heavily affected areas could see falls of more than 50mm.
The next heavy storm will hit on Tuesday, which is very favorable for ski areas
This active pattern will continue into next week for BC, with the next storm expected Tuesday evening and Wednesday. Snow levels will be quite low, well below 1000 metres, so this should be a very favorable storm for the ski areas. Significant amounts of snow are also possible in BC’s interior, which could have a major impact on travel.

A few images of Arctic air are expected for northeastern BC next week, with colder than seasonal temperatures dominating much of the province in the second half of November.
