Instant messaging platform owned by Meta WhatsApp is the most used app in South Africa and is used by millions of people to communicate every day.
Over the years, WhatsApp has released many updates, making communication even more efficient and forever changing the way people communicate.

The instant messaging giant recently released a brand new update that makes using the app even easier.
The publication of the ‘Lists‘ feature helps users categorize chats into specific categories, making them easier to find.
How it works:
Users can navigate to the top of the app next to the ‘All’, ‘Unread’ and ‘Groups’ filters, which were released earlier this year.
By tapping the “+”, users can create a list and organize specific chats and groups into that list.
After tapping the “+”, users will need to create a name for the list and then add the group chats or one-on-one conversations they want to add to it.
For example, if you want to bring all your workgroups and colleagues together in one filter, you can create a ‘Work’ filter.
If you have multiple lists, you can scroll horizontally through the filter bar to find them.

‘Lists’ rolled out in late October and will be available to users in the coming weeks.
“We look forward to expanding the functionality of Lists so you can focus on the people and conversations that matter most,” WhatsApp said.
