She manages to shake it off.
Taylor Swift handled a technical glitch like a pro during the first night of her Eras Tour in Indianapolis Friday.
In a video obtained by Page Six, a stagehand was seen helping the pop superstar remove a microphone pack attached to her waist after the battery apparently died during her performance of “Lavender Haze.”
Swift, 34, smiled despite the technical difficulties and didn’t seem fazed at all as she continued to sing the lyrics to the 2002 song while holding her earpiece.
Once the accident was over, the “Shake It Off” singer giddily jumped around on stage as fans cheered her on.

Swift performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium this weekend for the first back-to-back shows in Indianapolis.
The “Karma” singer took the stage shortly after Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett November 1-3, 2024 declared ‘Taylor Swift Weekend’.
“In honor of the next three nights of Taylor Swift’s #ErasTour at @LucasOilStadium and the expected nine-figure economic impact it will have on our city, I’m pleased to declare the first weekend of November 2024 as ‘Taylor Swift Weekend’ in the city of Indianapolis,” Hogsett wrote via X last week.
He too shared a photo of the official proclamation letter from the ‘office of the mayor’.
According to Hogsett, Swift’s shows in Indianapolis are expected to have a “nine-figure economic impact” on the city. Swift is fresh off her Eras Tour shows in New Orleans last week, where she was joined by some of her famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
The ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ star opened up about his experiences on the pop star’s show via Instagram on Thursday, he told his followers that he would “still talk about seeing” Swift’s show in Louisiana for years to come.
“Not just because it’s one of the best things I’ve seen/heard/felt. And not just because you see the staggering and positive economic impact this tour has on small businesses across NOLA – a city that has been through so much for so long,” he explained in a lengthy caption.

“The main reason I will never forget this show is because it brings people together in so many ways. And in 2024 (where that feeling is so scarce) it is something special and incredibly rare,” he continued.
“I don’t understand the incredible work, care, talent and discipline that @taylorswift generates to create an experience like this because I’m not a scientist. It is an athletic event and a collective cultural phenomenon. It’s huge but intimate.”
Reynolds concluded his message by stating that the “only downside” is that Swift won’t be able to be in the audience herself – to experience the incredible show she puts on for her fans.
“To keep an eye on herself there, I wish she could know,” he said. “But that is not physically possible and even if it were, you cannot simply get tickets at the last minute.”
