VIDEO: Robbery at Chitale Bandhu franchise in Pune’s Baner area captured on CCTV |
Days after two robberies at shops in the city, now early Sunday morning, thieves broke into Baner’s famous sweet shop Chitale Bandhu and stole money from the counter.
CCTV footage showed one of the thieves taking the money. The exact amount taken is still being determined.
The case is being investigated by Baner police officers.
More updates were expected.
In recent similar cases, a theft of Amba Barfi and dry fruits from a shop in Yerwada is still fresh in people’s minds, while a bar in Pune’s Kondhwa area was also looted by thieves.
