The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) opens doors to various educational opportunities across India. Although CTET does not guarantee direct employment, it is a mandatory qualification for those who wish to teach in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Navodaya Vidyalayas and CBSE affiliated schools.
This year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CTET exam on December 14. The exam was administered in two shifts. Paper 1 was held for candidates who want to become teachers in grades 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was held for candidates who want to become teachers in grades 6 to 8.
The provisional answer key of CTET 2024 will be released by the CBSE soon. Those who took the exam can access their answer key on the official website using their login credentials. Those who wish to appeal an answer key can do so by paying Rs 1,000 per question. The final result of CTET 2024 will be prepared based on the objections submitted by applicants.
Qualifying the CTET exam provides excellent opportunities for career advancement in the education sector. Below are some CTET career options for different positions:

Candidates are teachers from grades 1 to 5. To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in addition to the CTET qualification.
