Actress Mrunal Thakur returns home to celebrate Christmas with her family.
Expressing her happiness, Mrunal took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of herself on the flight, and wrote, “Finally home.”
The actress has completed her schedule for her upcoming action thriller starrer ‘Dacoit’ Adivi Sesh. Mrunal had shared the news on her Instagram stories on Tuesday.
She shared a monochrome photo of herself getting her makeup done at her hair salon and wrote, “That’s a Schedule wrap!!! #dacoit.”
It was on December 17 when it was announced that the actress will be sharing the screen with actor Adivi Sesh in the upcoming film ‘Dacoit’. The action drama marks the directorial debut of Shaneil Deoreports ‘Variety’.
It follows the story of an angry convict who seeks revenge on his ex-girlfriend who betrayed him.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, the project will be shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The director collaborated with Adivi Sesh on the story and screenplay. Production is currently taking place in Hyderabad, with plans for an extensive shooting schedule in Maharashtra.
Mrunal had said that the story of ‘Dacoit’ is true in its essence, a great blend of rustic storytelling elevated with the stylized vision of both Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo.
She added, “The character I will be portraying in the films will allow me to explore shades of playing a character on screen that I have not explored before as an actor. This proposal blended with the genre and script of ‘Dacoit’ is what will truly make it a joy to watch for audiences. I can’t wait to dive deep into the world that Shaneil envisions.”
Actress Shruti Haasan has distanced herself from ‘Dacoit’ and cites ‘uncomfortable working conditions’ as the reason for her departure.
Earlier, several reports suggested that Shruti left ‘Dacoit’ due to a scheduling conflict with her other project, ‘Coolie:’. However, a source close to the development has dismissed this.
An insider revealed, “Shruti Haasan shot the teaser of the film last year and posted that the shooting dates were shifted every now and then. There were portions that were reshot multiple times. The other actor in the film was too involved .” in the script, and sometimes there were two people directing the film, which became very confusing.”
“Shruti, despite being interested in showing a new side to her acting and working with the original director, was uncomfortable with the co-star’s over-involvement. It made the workplace uncomfortable for her ” the source added.
